Despina Karagianni – Clinical Director of the Day Centre for the Care of the Mental Health of Women (Postpartum Disorder)
Despina Karagianni is a Clinical Psychologist, Psychoanalyst, member of the Hellenic Society of the New Lacanian School of Psychoanalysis (NLS), the World Association of Psychoanalysis (WAP) and the Hellenic Psychological Society. She received her B.S. in Psychology as well as a three-year M.Sc. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Athens. She holds a Ph.D from the same University and her research focuses on perinatal mental disorders.
She has worked at the Psychiatric Clinic of the General Hospital of Samos and at the Centre for the Training and Social Support of the Disabled. Since 2008, she works at the Day Centre for the Care of the Mental Health of Women Postpartum Disorder. Since June 2013 she has been appointed Clinical Director of the Day Centre, responsible for the coordination and supervision of the Interdisciplinary Team.
Vassilios Daglas - Treasurer of the Board of Directors and Executive Director of NGO FAINARETI
Vassilios Daglas holds a BSc degree in Philosophy and History of Science from the University of Athens (2001) and an MSc in Science and Technology Policy from SPRU, University of Sussex, UK (2002). From 2002 until 2005 he worked as a research associate in the Department of Sociology at the National School of Public Health and in the Department of Political Science and Public Administration at the University of Athens. Since 2005 he works as a business consultant in technology policy and innovation management projects in high tech companies as well as consultancy firms.
Since 2006 he is Treasurer of the Board of Directors and Executive Director of NGO FAINARETI. He is responsible for the design and implementation of innovative programs in social welfare and care as well as the management of funds of national and co-funded projects.
